If a sceptic does not believe in an afterlife then they won’t believe that the spirit goes on, therefore what can there be left for us in the living to communicate with? A sceptic will never accept, understand or believe in the afterlife until they receive their own personal proof of it via their own senses. I should know, I was one of them once! Until someone they loved or cared for who has passed to spirit gives 100% unequivocal proof to them directly (no mediums involved) that they exist in another form of energy then I cannot convince any of them, nor do I want to. It is not my place or purpose to convince or convert anyone, if they don’t want to believe that is fine by me and is their choice. A healthy dose of scepticism is required to stay grounded in this line of work anyway, so sceptics don’t bother me as long as they are open minded!
