A. We have developed special features at Mario Cotta to reduce the risks to operators. Our new series of knife holders are available with a 360° protection guard. These can allow the operator to remove the blade cartridge or the entire knife holder from the slitting section, in order to change the blade or adjust other parameters, in complete safety. In addition, automatic and semiautomatic positioning systems are available which allow operators to change the slitting dimensions remotely.
