Safety Alert – Is it Okay to Use Baby Crib Bumper Pads?
Baby crib bumper pads are probably one of the most common and well known baby products out there in the market. Many parents are buying these for their kids in the effort of safeguarding their precious little ones especially while they are on their respective cribs. But are baby crib bumpers really safe to se? Or does it pose more danger to our kids, something that most of us may not be aware of? Lately, a lot of health agencies in the country and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) awareness groups are recommending that parents not enforce the use of baby crib bumper pads, mentioning that its use may pose more danger to their children. They may be putting their kids at higher risk for suffocation when they use baby crib bumper pads. For those not in the know, baby crib bumper pads were used in cribs which has slats that are widely spaced. Its been used to prevent the baby’s head from being trapped between the slats.
