“The Parish Council visually inspect each play area Monday to Friday and remove all litter and debris that is found. Alongside this, every quarter the play areas have a full maintenance and hands on inspection which highlights any defects to the equipment and surfacing, to which we respond and carry out any necessary repairs. In addition each year we have a full thorough ROSPA inspection which again highlights hazards and provides guidelines to which we can respond, by carrying out any required work to the equipment and surfacing. The current style of surfacing is deemed safe by the inspectors and as such there are no current plans to resurface any of the play areas.
