Safari destination Namibia ?
Namibia has very different deserts. The Kalahari desert, rocky canyons, savannas, very old deserts like the Namib -Naukluft. A safari in the desert is a very special experience and good for a lots of spectacular pictures. The arid environnements of Namibia are inhabited by different animals. Big game is best in the northern part, Kaokoland, Etosha NP and Kaudom Game Reserve. The oryx is the national animal in Namibia. He survives in the extreme dry desert. Photo tip : When leaving the scene, an oryx will always stand still and look back to check your move. Be ready with your camera. Distances are very long in Namibia and quite dangerous for non-African drivers. Only the main roads are tarred. Mostly they are the so-called “grintpaths”. There is also the possibility to drive in the extreme north of Namibia trough a corridor towards the meeting point of Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. Back to…
