It all depends on what they were sacked for, if it was for incompetence that’s OK. However too often they are sacked because they have expressed an opinion that has offended Labour’s ideas on equal opportunities. About 12 years ago I was on a London primary school governing body as a local industrial representative. I was appalled at the Headmistresses constant stream of reports to her Governing body, they all contained trivialities. She was encouraged by the local education office along these lines. On one occasion her opening line was, “There has been one instance of name calling in the school playground, the child has been interviewed by the school counsellor” Nothing about sports or educational standards achieved. No wonder that when at the secondary school they came for work experience they were totally incapable of doing anything useful in the work place. By the way, I used Headmistress because the teacher in charge was female. Only Harriet Harperson types use the sexless express
