s colours are washed out (or an awful hue) or even black and white. How can I fix this?
A. Typical symptoms: Using Dongle.bin (or other Dongle_XXXX.bin) through SCART-SCART gives a green hue on the TV. Using the same dongles using a SCART to s-vid gives me a black and white picture. Using GBMVP.bin through SCART to SCART looks washed out, but through SCART to S-vid it looks great, although either way it crashes very often, sometimes at the first keypress, and can go out of sync after 10–15 mins of playback (the crashes are pretty random and associated with keypresses or ff/rw). A. Possible solution: First, install the Hauppauge MediaMVP software. It has a config option. Using this you can change the settings to S-Video and PAL. When you fire the GBPVR MediaMVP server back up your problems should hopefully be gone. You can probably uninstall the Hauppage MediaMVP s/w again too. B.
