Running 2.0.x on Debian/Ubuntu crashes with “no code for module (g-wrap gw standard)”. What does this mean?
GnuCash uses g-wrap to interface between C and Guile. Debian/Ubuntu have packaged g-wrap in such a way that the runtime files are separated from the development files, and don’t have an explicit dependency on the runtime files. If you get this error, it means you do not have the g-wrap runtime package installed. You should install the package named guile-g-wrap and then gnucash should run.
