Run speakers thru amplifier?
you didnt give the amp or speaker brand or model # but assumming that the speakers are all 4 ohm the only safe way to do that is wire 2 of the speakers in series to 1 channel and wire the other 2 in series to the 2nd channel that will give you around 35 watts rms /ch.if the amp is 2 ohm stereo stable you can wire them in parallel but you need to make sure your speakers can handle the power most likely 140 watts /ch.so if the speakers are 70 watts rms each and the amp is 2 ohm stereo stable you’ll be fine if not get a different amp or wire them in series.
It depends on the amp and speakers. if the amp is two ohm stable in stereo mode than you could run two 4 ohm speakers off of each channel, using two 4 ohm speakers hooked together make’s it a 2 ohm load. if the amp is only 4 ohm stable in stereo mode than you could run two 8 ohm speakers frome each channel making it a 4 ohm load. so yes you could run 4 speakers off a two channel amp, but with an amp that small it would not be very much power for the speakers. You have to make sure you stay in the ohm ratings for you amp or you might blow it up. If you do hook it up like that you can go www.crutchfield.
