RT vs. IT: Which role is best suited to be a PACS/Imaging Informatics Administrator?

0

This is NOT part of the debate the answer is both. An imaging informatics professional will need to be conversant with both IT and RT concepts to be successful on the examination. The Certification Committee developing the exam includes members from all disciplines and backgrounds including RT, IT, engineering, physics, and medicine. Additionally, SCAR/SIIM needs to strive to transition perception from PACS Professionals to Imaging Informatics Professionals.
