Roman tub faucet, no access, can it be done?
Hello, I recently had a single control faucet break on my roman tub in my master bathroom. It is a single hole setup. Hot and cold lines come into the faucet via flex hose. Looks like the builder assembled the tub hardware before finishing building the home. The reason I say this is because there is NO ACCESS TO BE FOUND. On the other side of the wall there is a drop in shower-tub unit. I thought about coming through the crawlspace, but the main air duct is run RIGHT under this spot. I had a plumber come over and he actually laughed at my situation. He said he cant think of how it can be fixed, but that it would involve two plumbers and cost over $500!!! My wife is pregnant and would really love to use this tub during her pregnancy. I can pull on the faucet enough to see the connections. Where would I find a faucet replacement like this? Would LOWES have something like this? I figure I am going to have to do this own my own since it is so ridiculously expensive to do. What would all yo
