Robert Pattinson films Bel Ami in Budapest, fans line the streets, is there a crowd control issue?
April 25, 2010 — Robert Pattinson is busy filming ‘Bel Ami’ in Budapest. While there the ‘Twilight’ star has been surrounded by fans who are just trying to catch a small glimpse of the hunky Brit. Robert Pattinson’s life has changed dramatically since the 2008 opening of ‘Twilight.’ Since that time the ‘Bel Ami’ actor has skyrocketed to fame not only for his portrayal of Edward Cullen, but also for his handsome looks, and major acting chops. Pattinson, who appeared in films such as ‘The Haunted Airman,’ and ‘Little Ashes’ before hitting it big with ‘Twilight’ is currently filming a period piece titled ‘Bel Ami’ about a young European man who uses sex as a weapon and tries to sleep his way to the top. Pattinson’s character Georges teams up with the likes of Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci for the film. ‘Bel Ami’ is being filmed in Budapest, where fans have been lining the streets daily with cameras, and video recorders trying desperately to get a look at Robert Pattinson.
