RipEditBurn finds my CD burner, but will not burn, or will not burn correctly. What should I do?
There are quite a few possible reasons for problems with burning. You could try burning at a slower speed, or with a different brand of CD-R. Sometimes, even though the manual may say the burner will run at a certain speed and support certain media, it doesn’t quite work in practice. It is also a good idea to have all other applications closed during burning. If you are still having trouble, try burning with Windows Media Player 7. If Windows Media Player will burn, but RipEditBurn will not, please email our support department so we can investigate further. If Windows Media Player 7 (WMP7) will not burn either, try uninstalling and then reinstalling WMP7 with your CD burner present and turned on. Then try burning with WMP7 again. If that works, the problem should be fixed in RipEditBurn as well. If WMP7 still will not burn, than it is likely that your burner is not supported by RipEditBurn.
