If you do not have GPS receiver, there are two web sites that will give you the latitude and longitude for any address within the United States. These are: Testdrive Eagle Geocoding from Etak/Tele Microsoft’s TerraServer The data are in decimal degrees. To convert to degrees/minutes/seconds, multiply the fractional part by 60 (to get minutes and fractional minutes), then multiply the fractional Minutes by 60 to get seconds (and fractional seconds). For example: Ohio EPAs Central District Office is located at 3232 Alum Creek Drive Columbus, Ohio Latitude 39.902529, Longitude -82.928945 The following shows how this decimal format is converted to degree/minute/second format.
