Return to question I have Windows XP64 and it doesn run 16-bit apps. How do I run CPC Software?
There is a free 16-bit emulator available called DosBox. It runs 16-bit applications on Windows XP64 platforms. DosBox is relatively new and is intended for the game playing community that wants to preserve and play older games. As it turns out, DosBox offers fairly versatile support for other 16-bit apps as well. DosBox offers many features for gaming, but we are only interested in features to run CPC software on newer 64-bit platforms. I’m looking for printing support if available.
