A. They best answer is possibly. Radio waves can travel great distances if nothing is in the way. Trouble is that there is always something in the way, buildings, trees or even a mountain. The truth is all of the retail type radios are best suited toys for families or friends not reliable business communications. They lack transmit and receive sensitivity when compared to commercial quality radios.
