Resveratrol and Cancer – Can it Really Help Cancer Patients?
Over the past 20 years or so, reservatrol has been closely studied aggressively. However, what is little known, is that naturally occurring polyphenol plants were first discovered around 1940s. Resveratrol is a powerful polyphenol which exists in order to fight fungal infections, bacterial infections, and harmful sun rays which can adversely affect the health of the plant. In one of its premier studies, about 20 years ago, scientists became intrigued with resveratrol , especially when it was discovered that people from southern France had a considerable amount of protection against any kind of cardiac condition, all the while having horrible dieting practices. This seeming contradiction cannot be found anywhere else in Western civilization, especially in America, where the rates of heart diseases are increasing rapidly.
