The insurance said it was 75/25 and paid for the car damage. They said his own insurance would cover the medical. They wouldn’t. The other side wouldn’t either. He was a contractor (concrete work) and was out of work for months. He had to sue the other driver but couldn’t because of no income. He ended up doing bankruptcy and still has pain today. (it was 7 years ago he was hit) Insurance will fight you all the way. They never want to pay out for a claim. Once they pay anything for damage, it will be very hard to get anything more out of them.
