If you have been sent a meeting invitation that clashes with an existing commitment, it is possible to contact the meeting chair to propose a new meeting time. This feature should be used with due consideration for the other meeting attendees. To Propose a new time: • Open the meeting invitation. • Click the Decline menu button followed by Propose New Time. • In the Propose New Time dialog enter a new time/date for the meeting. • You may wish to use the Scheduler tool to look for a suitable time slot in which the meeting can take place based on the commitments of the other meeting delegates and room availability. • Click OK to send the proposal of a new meeting time. Note: If proposing a new time for a repeating meeting, the meeting must first be accepted, then an instance of the meeting opened followed by the proposal of a new time.
