Running on Windows 7 OS, pre-installed Live Messenger 2011, have a new webcam….I can see me and contact in video call window, but they cant see me just themselves, red cross in box where I would be. I have tried all things in tabs, like video/audio set up and everything else and there is no option anywhere about a webcam, In previous versions I used on older PC on XP, there was an option to check box about a webcam, I cant find this anywhere in this version. Can I install a previous version of Messenger, like 8.5 running on Windows 7 OS? Its very frustrating and dont know what to do, after us both buying expensive webcams!
