Replacing the existing?
In most case, you are not replacing the existing system. You are retrofit the system with a better one. Replacing means taking the old out and placing a same one but is new in. Retrofit means changing the old one with new one. The new one mostly is better than the older one, either the efficiency, cooling power etc. So, many adjustment/change such as the flue pipe size, gas line, electricals are required along the change.
