Rent payment. Can I pay for housing and other University fees in one lump sum?
For the $30 application fee that should be fine, as long as you indicate that $30 of the money is for housing when you send it. For the rent, residences ask that you send payment direct to them. If you pay the money in a lump sum to another area, (such as the International Office), it is your responsibility to make sure the money arrives at the residence by the deadline. Curtin is a big place. The residence manager will not go asking around the university to find out if your rent arrived with other money. If you are sending a draft, send it direct to the residence as requested. It is your responsibility to make sure it arrives at the residence by the deadline. If the money does not arrive in time, your room offer may be cancelled.
