This is for stand alone computers, networked with SLIP or PPP, only! \ –Install and Run the System Policy Editor.(Its under admin\apptools\poledit.) \ –Select File|Open Registry \ –Double-click on ‘Local User’ Navigate the tree as follows: Local User Shell Restrictions \ Under the shell restrictions, set ‘Hide Network Neighborhood’ so that it has a checkmark. \ –Click OK –File|Save the registry.
