Remotescape is designed to automatically detect your Kaleidescape System. Begin by making sure your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch is connected to the same WiFi network your Kaleidescape System is using (Remotescape cannot connect to your Kaleidescape System through your carrier’s Internet service on your iPad or iPhone). Then make sure your Kaleidescape System—including all Servers and Players—is powered on, connected to the network, and working properly. Restart Remotescape, and if it still can’t find your Players or is reporting an error, contact us. Note that your WiFi network must also share the same IP subnet as your Kaleidescape System. Although it is unusual to do so, if your Kaleidescape System is installed on a separate IP subnet from your WiFi network, Remotescape will not be able to detect your Kaleidescape System.
