Usually, most victims of domestic abuse or relationship violence will not voluntarily inform family members, a dear friend, or even their health-care providers, that they are being abused. The question is, why don’t they speak out? The answer to this question is simple: They are usually too scared for their lives! Most victims of relationship violence are often stripped of their self-esteem,manipulated, controlled, and are constantly being threatened by their abusive spouses. They are usually told to keep their mouths tightly sealed, or else they might not live to tell a second person!
