Ad-Aware scan deletes the “Show Related Links” extension (categorizes it as Data-miner). To prevent that, select the “{C95FE080-8F5D-11D2-A20B-00AA003C157A}” entry from the scan results and add it to ignore list in Ad-aware. If the extension has already been deleted, you can restore it using one of the methods below. Method 1: For pre XP SP2 systems, type REGSVR32 /i SHDOCVW.DLL in the RUN box. Related.HTM is not created though. Method 2: [Thanks to Alan Edwards, MS MVP W95/98 Systems] Download related_ALL.reg and save to Desktop. Right-click the file and choose Merge. Additionally, download the file Related.htm and place it in the C:\Windows\Web folder. Note that the “Show Related Links” extension is removed in Windows XP Service Pack 2.
