I worked in a studio where we encountered this problem: obviously it was critical that we didn’t introduce noise onto our recordings & we were reluctant to change the soundcard. The problem was identified as radiation from the video card interfering with the audio, and as such I built an earthed EM shield for the soundcard. We used metallic tape & stiff cardboard, but I’d imagine that specialist magentic shield material would work even better if you’ve the budget for it. Basically, I made an earthed barrier around the sound card with some electrical insulation to stop it shorting. If you go down this route be aware that, especially at the high end, sound cards can generate a fair amount of heat so keep that mind when you install the shielding. I found that an extra case fan was needed next to the sound card.
