A society formed by (50) individuals of different familes residing in a particular village or in a cluster of villages with the main objective of promotion of the economic interest of its members may file its application in such form and with such particulars as may be specified by the Registrar and with a copy of Bye-laws to the Assistant Director (H&T) of the concerned district, who is vested with the powers of Registrar to register a weavers cooperative society. The Registrar after having satisfied himself that bye laws is not inconsistent with or repugnant to any provisions of the APCS Act., will register the society and Bye-laws of the society and send the registration certificate along with registered bye laws to the society.
