• No, the EDI System, EDIMation, can be used with any file format. It is a flexible mapping system using JavaScript to verify, process and insert or extract rows from the database. As each partner transaction will probably require custom mapping, it may be more economical to use another web-based mapping provider as an intermediary to the Floormation user’s partners. This third party mapping provider would have specific solutions for most of the large manufacturers and retailers and provide Floormation and EDIMation with standardized input transactions regardless of the source. The third party would also accept outbound transactions from Floormation and re-map them for transport to the customer’s partners.
