Redeeming American Airlines travel voucher?
I work for AA, so lets see… a) Yes, it is. All you need is to fax in a copy of your passport and a letter of authorization once the other person has made their reservation. The copy, the letter and the voucher then need to be sent via registered mail to AA so we can issue the ticket for your friends reservation. b) Our vouchers can be used for any date to any destination. Just keep in mind that they are only good for one year after issue, and we need 10 days advance notice. (THis is because we ask you to mail in the voucher, and to make sure that it gets to our offices in time for us to issue the ticket.) c) No need to worry about that. Just make the reservation whenever you have decided, but remember: if you book short notice the price may be higher and you may then need to pay the difference betweeen the ticket price and the value of the voucher.
