Red Cross Youth?
Yes. There are many opportunities for a cadet to earn CIP hours in Fairfield Red Cross Youth. Fairfield Red Cross Youth takes an active role in the fund-raising activities and community service projects organized by the Headquarters. Fund-raising activities organized by the Headquarters, such as the annual Red Cross Flag Day and the sale of Red Cross Donation Draw tickets, will allow a cadet to accumulate CIP hours easily. The Flag Day will earn a cadet at least 3 CIP hours and a cadet can also receive 1 CIP hour for every $10 worth of Donation Draw tickets sold. There is also an annual Project Red Cross Love event organized by the Headquarters, which helps a cadet to get at least 4 hours of CIP. Furthermore, Fairfield Red Cross Youth has always been on the lookout for public events whereby the cadets can offer their First Aid service, which further adds up to the number of CIP hours that a cadet has.
