Power failures and hardware problems can damage a FileMaker Pro file, which BusiMate uses. If a solution file has been damaged you can ‘Recover’ it: a) On a Windows computer press Ctrl+Shift while double-clicking the Busimate.exe icon. b) On a Mac press Option and Apple while double clicking the BusiMate file icon. The recovered file will be renamed by the system e.g. ‘14.recovered’ You then need to delete the original file called 14 from the BusiMate folder (in Programs or Applications), move the recovered file to that location and re-name it to be 14 (or whatever the original file was called).
