rearing baby rabbits – am I doing things right?

Everything sounds good so far. I just have one question. The other healthy female you have – has she been bred before? I’ve noticed a lot of times when I have orphaned babies that I can put them with a doe who has been bred, and she’ll start caring for them. The babies will try to nurse and it will actually stimulate the mammary glands to produce milk. So that may be an option. But keep in mind that baby rabbits usually only eat about twice a day – once in the morning and once in the evening. And when they do, their little bellies get HUGE. So I doubt you’re going to be over-feeding. If they have survived for 5 days so far, you’re doing great!
