Realist, Optimist, Pessimist?
Realist – no such thing – how can we be a realist if we can’t ever know everything? I guess on an emotional level, a realist could be one that attempts to not have too high expectations or low expactations but tries for the more unemotional middle ground most of the time anyway and is not merely supressing emotion either, but tries all angles before becoming emotional usually and keeps level headed a lot of the time, not jumping to conclusions too quickly. Optimist – things are always half full and they work with what they have so that they have the advantage of trying things that others might not try so hard on yet if they go in the wrong direction they might just try and try what is wrong for too long of a time, but if they got it right, they can be more successful than many of their peers in the end since they tried the “impossible” and succeeded in what they believed in with much energy behind it!
