Reader Question – Are there Great Paying Sales Jobs for College Students? Thursday July 17, 2008 Recently I received a question from a reader which I would like to share with all of you. “Is there such a thing as a high paying sales job for someone who is working their way through college?” My answer is yes! But, I do want to qualify this. There are many companies out there that look to hire college students (or younger people of college age) because they know that they are inexperienced in sales. Some, but not all of these companies, want to take advantage and they will teach and encourage very unscrupulous sales tactics. Because this is so, I would encourage anyone looking for a first time sales position to do their homework on the company that they are wanting to work for.
