Monday March 3, 2008 Last Wednesday, John McCain, the presumptive presidential nominee for the Republican Party in 2008, accepted the endorsement of San Antonio televangelist and megachurch leader John Hagee. Best known for his staunch Zionism and, more recently, for his claim that Christ is not the Messiah for Jews, Hagee is also bitterly anti-Catholic.
