I’m guessing you’re thinking about how O negative blood is in such high demand from the Red Cross. For whole blood donation, O neg is particularly important because they are “universal donors” (anybody can be transfused with their blood). Some plasma donation centers do pay more for people who weigh more since they’re able to donate a larger volume of plasma. I hope that answers your question! Let me know if I can help any more.
