Quicken asks for categories when I import checkMoney transactions. Why?
When loading QIF files in Quicken, the category names for income and expenses in checkMoney and Quicken must match. If they do not match, Quicken will ask if you want to create new categories for the names it does not recognize. You should edit category and sub-category lists in checkMoney so they match as closely as possible to your desktop financial program.
