Questions about diseases passed on through sexual contact?
Do you need to have these diseases (any or all of them) before you can pass them on during sexual contact. List: Herpes simplex virus (HSV) Pubic lice Scabies Gonorrhea Hepatitis B virus (HBV) Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Trichomoniasis Chlamydia Syphilis Chancroid Human papilloma viruses (HPVs) Please take them one at a time. I would just like to know for my future. If both partners don’t have the disease and you can still contract it (from that partner) please explain why. I ask anyone who understands diseases (any or all of these) to speak up and lend me your knowledge. Those with sources will also be highly enjoyed here. Again, I’d just like to understand these things more for when I grow up and become sexually active. Theres nothing wrong with being interested in this stuff. I rather be prepared for when stuff happens than be out of luck and with a disease.
