Question for people who usually listen to Rock/Metal: what Hip Hop Artists do you listen to?
I don’t have many rap songs, and I don’t listen to one specific artist. Here’s the list: We Made You – Eminem Express Yourself – NWA Ice Ice Baby – Vanilla Ice (arguably hip-hop/rap) Intergalactic – Beastie Boys Jump – Kriss Kross Jump Around – House Of Pain (And the Limp Bizkit cover) Can’t Touch This – MC Hammer Funky Cold Medina – Tone-Loc Yeah, 8 out of a total of 250 songs, of which about 175 are comprised of rock and metal. The others are electronica/dance music, mainly soundtracks from the Halo series and Need For Speed II SE.
Well I don’t listen to it on purpose but some of my friends listen to it and when we are hanging out they usually try to play something everyone can stand like M.I.A, (Old) Snoop Dog, and 2 PAC. Stuff basically that’s either really catchy or actually has OK lyrics. Personally, I am not a huge fan of Rap but SOME of 2 PAC’s lyrics are very interesting and involve an interesting out look on the world.
