Question about premature labor and soft cervix in second trimester?

0

I went into the hospital Tues. night because of cramps, back pain, and pelvic pressure. As in turned out I was having preterm labor. When the nuse checked me she said that my cervix was closed, but really soft. I’m 25wks pregnant with twins. The following morning I had a ultrasound that showed that baby a is heads down and is pretty low. My cervix was at 3.6. Before this my cervix was 4. I asked my ob about it and he said that the cervical length was fine. I asked him about the baby a being low. He told me that when the nurse examined me she said that the baby was at -3. My doc sent me home and put me on bedrest. My question is for women that have deen in this situation. I know that 50% of all twins are premature. I just want to know when did you deliver? You can answer this even if you just had one baby.
