There are four Vedas, which contain the knowledge of three subjects, i.e. Knowledge, action and communion. [Glorification–communion–emancipation] The books called the Rigveda, the Yajur Veda, the Sama Veda and the Atharva Veda—mantras Samhitas only and no other.
