Quality assurance and verification What is the role of the IRRV?

0

One of the roles of the IRRV is to award national qualifications. The Institute has been granted this responsibility by the regulators, the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). The IRRV is therefore entitled to issue certificates for candidate achievement in the National Vocational Qualification (NVQs) and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) and is the only awarding body offering N/SVQs in Housing and Council Tax Benefits and Local Taxation.
