Ans :- With HotSync.exe 2.x the install DLL runs at the end of the synchronization process after third party conduits have run. The HotSync.exe 3.0 process runs the install DLL at the beginning before third party conduits are run. If your conduit placed files for installation onto the organizer and made the necessary Windows Registry entry then this will happen at the beginning of the next synchronization process instead of the end of the current one. The HotSync.exe 3.0.1 is for the Palm 3.0 Windows desktop only. It will run the install DLL first, and then at the end of the synchronization process will run it again if any conduit placed files in the users install directory and made the proper Windows Registry entry.
