pumps operation be locked?
Yes. The keys can be locked by the supervisor, which will bar the user from turning the unit on/off, or entering into the program or menu structures. Two lock modes are provided – Partial Lock – The user can start and stop the Apex pump, for example, when going on and off shift or into a certain work area. They cannot change the selected flow rate or clear the sample counters in the Apex pump. Press the Off button 3 times in 2 seconds to toggle the lock mode. Full Lock – Press the Off button 3 more times and all keys are locked. The user cannot do anything to the Apex pump until the lock is disabled. Disabling the Lock – Press the Off button three times quickly to release the lock function. The Apex pump will then be returned to normal operation and the buttons will be fully functional again.
