• Zoo walk, which sometimes includes Zoo attractions (tram or carousel ride, petting zoo, or special tours) • Classroom lessons with pictures and biofacts (bones, pelts, feathers, etc.) and animal contact with some of our small, education animals • Games and activities that reinforce the concepts being taught that day • Morning snack – a healthy choice of fruit • Lunchtime with a quiet activity or video (full day camp only) • Arts and crafts activities. • A special tour of the Louisville Zoo’s new attraction: Dinosaurs Alive! Do campers need to bring a lunch? For full day camp, campers MUST bring their own lunch and drink with them from home. Lunches will be refrigerated. Campers may not purchase a lunch on Zoo grounds. Who will be my child’s group leader? Our counselors along with Louisville Zoo educators are responsible for summer campers. Our camp counselors must have completed at least one year of college.
