A.16 The hospital is affiliated to PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, a medical college with both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, PSG College of Nursing, PSG College of Pharmacy and PSG College of Physiotherapy. The doctors and other professionals are therefore constantly updating their knowledge and skills. Being an academic institution, the treatment of a patient is based on a sound and scientific protocol. There are some wards to which patients are admitted for the purposes of teaching. However, the medicals as well as the students of the other colleges mentioned above are not involved in the treatment of any patient.
