Prozac Question: Are there any drugs which are harmful when combined with prozac?
It is not recommended to take other antidepressants (MAO inhibitors especially), alcohol. Trytophan, lithium, dilantin, and CNS active drugs should be watched closely. Prozac and awareness Question: My father is 86 and has recently been treated for Lymphoma. This was treated successfully with Chlorambucil. However, since the treatment he has felt very depressed. As a result of this he has gone on to Prozac, which have made him feel better, but in the last few days he has complained of feeling disconnected and not really in touch with reality. He has been on the Prozac now for some three months and I would say is generally much better because of it. He also takes Allopurinol for Gout, Quinine Sulfate for night cramps, Aspirin, and Enalapril for blood pressure regulation His doctor is mystified. Do you have any suggestions?
