Protozoa amoeba bacteria.. where is it from ?
Protozoa are a single-celled parasite, amoeba being one type of protozoa. It has nothing to do with bacteria. The one pathogenic intestinal amoeba, Entamoeba histolytica, is usually from ingesting or drinking contaminated water. Another, Naegleria fowleri, is a deadly amoeba which you get from jumping into contaminated lake or pool water. The water rushes up your nose and the amoeba get into your brain. Usually fatal. Another pathogenic amoeba is Acanthoemba. This amoeba is usually transmitted via contaminated contact lens fluid. It can cause severe eye damage. Most non-pathogenic amoeba you’d get by drinking contaminated water.
