Pros and cons of using my bank card or travellers cheques around europe?

Fraud you need to be careful everywhere. If you have a bank card, yes you can draw out everywhere in Europe these days but if you only have one card if you lose it like I did in Bangkok, make sure you have another card like visa that you keep separate(as you don’t want to lose both ie.if your bag is stolen) or you will have problems. Travelers cheques, you must make a note of the numbers and amount and the date you cash and where you cash them AND keep the receipts just in case they’re stolen AND keep them separate from the cheques. But if you lose these, even just one receipt half way through the holiday you won’t get them replaced if lost. When I travel for any amount of time I take a mixture of cheques and cards to be on the safe side.
